Senior Accountant
Fully onsite in McLean, VA
$43 – $50 / Hour (based on experience)
Eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Duration: 3+ months (possible extension).
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of inventory accounting.
Perform month‑end close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and post journal entries.
Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with financial analysis and reporting as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications
3–5+ years of accounting experience within government contracting or manufacturing.
Strong background in inventory accounting and month‑end close.
Hands‑on experience with journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
Proficiency in large ERP systems such as NetSuite, Deltek Costpoint, or SAP.
Ability to work fully onsite in McLean, VA.
Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and ability to work independently.
