LHH is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support for a wonderful non-profit organization in Atlanta, GA. This employee will support the Executive Director, Deputy Director, and the Board of Directors. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, discreet, and excels in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support for the Board of Directors & Senior Executives

  • Serve as Board Liaison
  • Schedule and set up meetings (including food prep and virtual meeting logistics)
  • Organize agendas and share relevant materials in advance
  • Maintain official records and documents
  • Draft and revise meeting minutes, reports, and other communications

Support for Executive & Deputy Directors

  • Calendar management for multiple executives
  • Manage and prioritize email correspondence
  • Field inquiries from clients, partners, and the public
  • Handle escalations from disgruntled clients and document formal grievances
  • Organize and digitize files and documents
  • Forward voicemails and calls from the front desk
  • Plan and coordinate meetings, training sessions, and special events
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare expense reports
  • Occasionally provide support to other leadership team members

Qualifications

Must-Haves

  • 3–5+ years of experience in an Executive Assistant or similar role
  • Strong calendar management and scheduling skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude

Bonus Skillset

  • Previous experience in legal or nonprofit organizations
  • Spanish language skills or other multilingual abilities
  • Experience using internal case management systems

Technical Skills

  • Google Workspace
  • Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets
  • Internal case management software (preferred but not required)
