Legal Office Assistant for direct hire in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Support the seamless functioning of the office and efficient management of legal cases.
  • Report directly to a Managing Attorney.
  • Provide administrative assistance to attorneys to optimize office productivity.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and external contacts effectively.
  • Prepare case briefs and synopses of depositions, interrogatories, and testimonies.
  • Maintain office records and manage accounting information.
  • Copy, scan, file, and draft legal documents and correspondence.
  • Organize calendars, monitor deadlines, and update contact lists.
  • Procure and oversee office supplies and equipment.
  • Handle incoming calls and provide appropriate assistance.
  • Research and compile case-relevant information as needed.

Background Profile

  • Minimum requirement of a College Degree.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Legal Assistant or Executive Administrative Assistant.
  • Familiarity with office procedures, legal protocols, and court systems is advantageous.
  • Strong command of English, exceptional secretarial, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Apple operating systems.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
