Salary
$145,000 - $175,000 per year
Description This position is contingent upon a future opening with Gunnison.
Work Location Hybrid, primarily remote with ad hoc on-site work, frequency TBD.
Duties and Responsibilities
Design, install, maintain, and support Enterprise IT systems with an emphasis on security infrastructure.
Implement and manage Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions, incorporating data pipeline configurations.
Provide technical guidance on cloud security operations, including AWS, Azure, and O365.
Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity frameworks such as FISMA, NIST, and CDM.
Develop automation scripts using Python to improve security operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors in managing IT infrastructure and security systems.
Requirements
Over 10 years of experience in IT system design and support.
Minimum 5 years of experience at a senior engineer level or higher.
At least 3 years of specific experience with cybersecurity tools and SIEM systems.
Familiarity with federal cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
Strong scripting capabilities in Python.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with core virtualization technologies and hybrid infrastructures.
Prior experience integrating SIEMs within cloud and on-prem environments.
Advanced certifications such as CISSP or CEH.
Master’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
Clearance Requirement Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
