This position is contingent upon a future opening at Gunnison.
Salary:
$155,000 - $185,000/year Work location : Hybrid, primarily remote with ad hoc on-site work, frequency TBD. This position serves as a Gunnison employee in support of a federal cybersecurity operations support contract. Join our exceptional group of cybersecurity pros! Duties and responsibilities include: Lead and manage technical teams focused on security infrastructure support, managing a hybrid (on-prem/cloud) environment. Oversee project management, technical risk analysis, and provide strategic technical guidance. Manage the use and integration of SIEM platforms and other cybersecurity tools in an enterprise environment. Develop and maintain documentation, including SOPs, performance metrics, and reporting structures in line with SLAs and KPIs. Engage and coordinate with Federal leadership, CSOCs, compliance offices, and third-party vendors. Requirements Minimum 10+ years in IT, with 5+ years in security engineering and leadership roles. Experience in managing a hybrid infrastructure, involving both on-premises and cloud operations. Proficiency in cybersecurity compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST, CDM). Demonstrated experience with project management and technical teams. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Concentration in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred. Desired Qualifications: Prior experience coordinating with federal agencies. Expertise in Windows/Linux servers and network infrastructure management. PMP certification. Master’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline. Clearance Requirement : Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. The salary range for this position depends upon multiple factors including location, the individual's knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and contract-specific budget constraints and organizational requirements.
