At NECS, we are a private medical practice serving patients with cancer and blood disorders across 4 locations in Maine and New Hampshire. Our mission is to provide high‑quality, holistic care. As CPO, you will shape the future of our workforce. Leadership Impact
Architect an enterprise people strategy aligned with NECS’s mission and growth. Serve as CEO’s trusted adviser on workforce strategy, succession, leadership development, and culture transformation. Partner with the Board on governance of people matters. Drive workforce analytics and digital HR tools to inform decisions. Lead a high‑performing HR team, building operational efficiency. Collaborate with strategic partners, external stakeholders, and joint venture entities to align cultures. Create a compelling employee value proposition and position NECS as an employer of choice. Lead change management capabilities, ensuring cultural alignment during expansion, transformation and innovation. Responsibilities
Develop a strong leadership bench through succession planning and coaching. Champion leadership development, continuous learning, and talent acquisition. Lead innovative talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, and succession strategies. Oversee competitive compensation, benefits, and well‑being strategies. Build a best‑in‑class HR organization with lifecycle capabilities. Align structure, roles, processes, and technology for agility. Ensure HR policies meet legal and ethical standards. Foster an inclusive, high‑performance culture. Qualifications
Masters degree in HR, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent executive‑level experience). 15+ years of progressive HR leadership, with at least 5 years as chief HR executive or #2 in a complex, multi‑site organization. Relevant experience advising CEOs and Boards on organizational and talent strategy. Strategic thinking with proven execution skills; success leading large‑scale cultural change. Impactful leadership presence, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to influence at every level. Expertise in data‑driven decision‑making, workforce analytics, and HR technology innovation. Benefits
