Job Description
Responsibilities include the following areas: Provide accurate and timely data that can be used to achieve the goals of the company. Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, journal entry preparation and analytical review. Cash management reporting. Maintain fixed asset accounting and reporting. Supervise and review the accounts payable process. Payroll review and management of wage garnishments. Preparation of various Sales and Use tax returns. Assist in revenue and cost analysis for monthly and yearly accounting and reporting functions. Various special projects as needed by the Controller and Corporate Officers. Job Requirements
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or finance, CPA certification is desirable. Minimum of five years of corporate accounting experience in maintaining the general ledger and related financial reports on a timely basis. Proficient in accounting software, MS Office, advanced Excel skills. Previous experience with Sage Intacct (or other large ERP Systems) experience is highly desirable. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Additional Information
