to our Advocate Department’s Case Management and Prevention Team. We are seeking professionals with public health, human services, social work, or education degrees who are interested in supporting our mission to provide support to anyone in need.

About This Opportunity The Advocate Department of Crisis Services is Erie County’s Rape Crisis Center and a licensed Non-Residential Domestic Violence Service Provider in New York State. Campus Advocates provide crisis intervention, case management, advocacy, and follow-up services to a small caseload of survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and/or stalking across local college campus. They collaborate with police, district attorneys, and other campus-based and community-based agencies. This position is also responsible for developing and implementing data-driven prevention education curricula and social media content to promote safety and shared responsibility to prevent interpersonal violence.

Job Type Full- and Part-Time positions available

Pay $21.61 - $25.30 per hour

Schedule Monday through Friday, some evening and/or weekend hours as needed, and required on‑call responsibilities.

Work Setting Onsite at Crisis Services, 100 River Rock Road, Suite 300, Buffalo, NY; co‑location at local college campuses; hybrid remote/onsite schedule may be available.

What You Will Bring

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in human services, public health, social work or education. Minimum 6 months of relevant work experience in domestic/sexual violence response or prevention. Experience in public speaking, community education, or training facilitation preferred. Ability to mobilize stakeholders and experience in higher education a plus. Experience engaging diverse populations in various settings. Valid NYS driver’s license with clean record and reliable automobile.
