Position Overview The Department of Economics at The Ohio State University invites applications for multiple positions at the rank of associate professor or professor with tenure to begin in August 2026. All subfields will be considered.
Responsibilities
Maintain an active research program.
Support our commitment to excellence in teaching.
Mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Qualifications
Required
– PhD in Economics or a related field before employment begins in August 2026, and a research, teaching, and service record commensurate with the rank of associate professor or professor.
Desired
– Preference is given to candidates with a record of publications in peer‑reviewed journals and evidence of impact in their field as indicated by citations, funding, and professional service.
Application Process Review of applications will begin on September 19, 2025. All applications must be received by April 15, 2026 to receive full consideration.
