In our Advanced Manufacturing Group, we are looking for a high‑energy Plumbing Engineer to join our Building Mechanical team and deliver innovative plumbing design solutions for heavy industrial clients.
Responsibilities
Perform field investigations, interface with clients and vendors, size and select equipment, and prepare construction design packages.
Develop the design criteria for plumbing systems.
Layout and design plumbing systems including sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, natural gas, and roof drainage.
Prepare final design documents and specifications for plumbing systems.
Coordinate with other disciplines to meet client needs.
Qualifications
Professional Engineering License.
At least eight (8) years’ experience in the design of plumbing systems.
Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to plumbing system design.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Adaptability to work within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
Ability to lead and collaborate with remote building mechanical team members.
Software experience in Revit (preferred).
Experience in utility piping system design (preferred).
