Senior Plumbing Engineer role at Jacobs. This position is available at ANY location in the United States. Ideally, candidates will be near a Jacobs U.S. office, but we intend to hire the best candidate. This role is part of the Advanced Manufacturing Group, within the Building Mechanical team, focusing on Plumbing design for heavy industrial clients. Responsibilities
Perform field investigations, interface with clients and vendors, size and select equipment, and prepare construction design packages for Plumbing systems. Lead and manage the schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks, aligning with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Collaborate with a multi-discipline team to meet client needs and ensure high-quality outcomes. Develop design criteria for Plumbing systems and layout/design of systems including sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, natural gas, and roof drainage. Develop final design documents and specifications for these systems and coordinate with other disciplines. Qualifications
Professional Engineering License. At least eight (8) years of experience in the design of Plumbing systems. Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to Plumbing systems. Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment and lead a building mechanical team on projects. Ability to collaborate with other discipline team members remotely. Preferred/Additional
Software experience in Revit. Experience in utility piping system design. Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range is $102,900.00/yr - $135,075.00/yr. Your actual pay will be based on skills and experience; discuss with your recruiter for details. Jacobs offers health and welfare benefits, 401(k), stock purchase options, and other programs. Eligible employees may enroll in deferred compensation or other plans. Jacobs has an unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off (PPTO) policy for full-time salaried/exempt employees, seven paid holidays, one floating holiday, and caregiver leave. Some roles may be eligible for additional rewards. Base salary range: $102,900.00 to $135,075.00.
