Senior Plumbing Engineer
Join Jacobs as a Senior Plumbing Engineer and help deliver innovative plumbing design solutions for heavy industrial clients. You will work alongside a multi-discipline team, performing field investigations, interfacing with clients & vendors, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages.
Base Pay $102,900.00/yr – $135,075.00/yr
Responsibilities
Develop design criteria for plumbing systems.
Layout and design plumbing systems including sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, natural gas, and roof drainage.
Prepare final design documents and specifications.
Coordinate with other disciplines.
Accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks.
Qualifications
Professional Engineering License.
At least eight (8) years’ experience in the design of plumbing systems.
Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to plumbing systems.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Adaptable to fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
Preferred Experience
Software experience in Revit.
Experience in utility piping system design.
