Leading the administration of 3M’s Global Project and Portfolio Management system and other systems/tools for 3M Corporate Engineering Supporting 3M’s Engineering Operating Committee by solving complex and diverse problems and implementing improvements and/or solutions to work processes and tools in support of business and strategic plans Investigating and applying new technologies and software to Engineering’s business processes. Managing the relationships, data sharing and integration between applications, and visualization of the data within the applications Participating in development and implementation of system policies and procedures, system security and performance of 3M’s Engineering systems. Interfacing with other 3M functions, including Corporate IT, Finance, Legal, EHS, Business Groups and Manufacturing to ensure 3M Engineering’s software systems and tools provide value within the entire corporate structure Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) Seven (7) years of IT, Engineering, Data Automation or Data Analytics experience in a private, public, government or military environment Three (3) years of experience with one or more of the following programming languages and platforms: SQL, Power BI, DAX, Visual Basic, Excel Formulas and Macros Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Skills include in-depth knowledge of 3M structure and organization, has cross‑function knowledge of businesses, knowledge and experience using continuous improvement processes and tools, recognized expertise in project management, communication and team skills, short and long‑term planning, and analytical skills. Work location

Work location: This role follows an on‑site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN. Travel:

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $141,150 - $172,517, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
