As a Global Quality Engineer for the Advanced Materials and Transportation Product Platform (AMTPP), you will: Support quality for New Product Introduction (NPI) teams in the automotive industry, leading or providing input on various quality tools and processes. Ensure compliance with 3M’s Code of Conduct, industry standards (ISO9001, IATF16949), and customer requirements. Support product evolution and improvements via change management. Use statistical techniques to analyze data and support decision-making as an SME. Promote continuous improvement through root cause analysis, CAPA, kaizen, 8D, FMEA, MSA, and Control Plans. Review customer complaints and collaborate with global teams to resolve issues. Participate in audits and support export-controlled product compliance. Your Skills and Expertise
Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics. Five years of combined experience in Quality Engineering, Product Engineering, or Manufacturing engineering. Additional qualifications that are advantageous: Experience with LEAN Six Sigma, ASQ certifications, automotive core tools, and auditing. Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills. Work Location & Travel
On-site 4 days/week in Maplewood, MN (preferred) or Austin, TX. Up to 25% domestic/international travel. Other Details
