Position Summary The Web Specialist is responsible for enhancing and maintaining the company’s digital presence across web platforms. The role combines technical expertise, creative problem‑solving, and an eye for design to ensure a seamless, engaging, and optimized user experience. The Web Specialist will oversee website updates, troubleshoot issues, implement SEO best practices, and support digital marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and business growth.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Website Management & Maintenance
Manage day‑to‑day website updates, ensuring content is accurate, current, and consistent with brand standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to website functionality, plugins, or integrations.
Maintain and update site architecture, navigation, and design elements for optimal user experience.
Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross‑browser compatibility.
Content & Digital Assets
Upload, format, and optimize digital content including product pages, blog posts, images, and video.
Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to implement campaigns and promotions on web platforms.
Maintain a digital asset library (images, graphics, documents) for consistent and efficient use across the website.
Optimization & Performance
Monitor website performance metrics (load speed, uptime, traffic analytics) and implement improvements.
Apply SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility and ranking.
Support web analytics setup and reporting to track user behavior and campaign effectiveness.
Integration & Technical Support
Manage integrations between the website and third‑party platforms (CRM, e‑commerce, marketing automation, etc.).
Provide technical support to internal teams related to website tools and functionality.
Collaborate with IT or vendors for larger development projects or upgrades.
Compliance & Security
Ensure website compliance with accessibility standards (ADA/WCAG) and data privacy regulations.
Work with IT/security teams to maintain site security, including regular updates, backups, and monitoring.
Collaboration & Project Management
Partner with marketing, sales, and leadership teams to align website content with business initiatives.
Assist in planning and executing digital projects, including microsites, landing pages, and event pages.
Manage timelines, priorities, and deliverables for web‑related initiatives.
Supervisory Responsibilities
No supervisory duties.
Minimum Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in website management, digital marketing, or related technical support.
Experience with image editing or graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva) preferred but not always required.
Proficiency with web content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Shopify.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager).
Understanding of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards.
Ability to troubleshoot common website and integration issues.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional teams.
Education And Experience
