Opportunity & Compensation
Job Title: Proposal Manager
Location: In-person at our Columbus, OH (43231) office.
Job Type: Full-time (8-hour shift)
What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities
Proposal Development (The Core Focus)
Lead the Proposal Process: Take ownership of the full proposal lifecycle—from initial strategy to final delivery—in response to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
Create Compelling Content: Collaborate directly with technical experts, project managers, and business developers to write, edit, and tailor persuasive content that clearly articulates our value proposition.
Ensure Quality Control: Manage proposal templates, maintain a consistent voice, coordinate graphics/visuals, and enforce quality standards to ensure all submissions are flawless and delivered on time.
Marketing and Business Development Support
Marketing Materials: Develop and maintain a suite of professional marketing materials, including project sheets, corporate brochures, and presentations.
Digital Presence: Support the management of the company website and social media channels to align with corporate messaging and marketing campaigns.
Event Coordination: Assist with planning and coordinating company events, trade shows, and other business development initiatives.
Requirements
A/E/C Industry Experience: 2+ years of dedicated proposal and marketing experience within the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (A/E/C) industry is required.
Exceptional Communicator: Proven ability to write clearly, concisely, and persuasively with advanced editing and proofreading skills and an acute eye for detail.
Highly Organized: A proven track record of meeting strict deadlines and managing multiple, simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is essential.
Team Player: A positive attitude, a willingness to collaborate, and a proactive approach to tackling new challenges.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field is preferred, but relevant professional experience will be considered.
