We are looking for a
Senior Financial Analyst
to join our busy Finance team to help keep us on the path to achieve our goals. As a trusted finance partner, the
Senior Financial Analyst
works across teams to analyze performance, build forecasts, and guide planning.
Responsibilities
Prepare clear, actionable reporting packages, including SaaS metrics, dashboards, and monthly performance analyses.
Build, enhance, and maintain financial models that support strategic planning, budgeting, and pricing.
Analyze profitability and performance across all business units and products.
Partner with senior and executive leaders to analyze results, forecast performance, and guide key business decisions.
Gather and interpret data from multiple systems (ERP, CRM, BI tools) to improve forecasting accuracy and explain variances.
Support external reporting, including board materials, MD&A, and special projects.
Recommend process improvements that enhance reporting efficiency and business visibility.
Contribute to month-end close activities and day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial results.
Respond to ad-hoc requests related to budgeting, valuation, sales pipeline, and compensation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA designation (or working toward completion) preferred.
3–5 years of experience in FP&A, financial modeling, or a hybrid finance/accounting role.
Experience in SaaS or high-growth technology companies is an asset.
Background in Big 4 public accounting or corporate FP&A preferred.
Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling expertise.
Experience with FP&A/CPM modeling tools, NetSuite, or BI/CRM systems is an asset.
Strong understanding of financial statements and key business drivers.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills.
High attention to detail, discretion, and ability to work with confidential information.
Proactive, curious, and capable of thinking strategically while executing tactically.
