A growing financial services organization is seeking an

Accounting Manager

to join its team. This role will be responsible for overseeing key accounting functions, guiding month-end close activities, and ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations. The successful candidate will play a hands‑on role in the accounting cycle while also leading initiatives to streamline processes, implement automation, and support the company’s growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee complex accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly close activities across multiple corporate areas.

Partner with cross‑functional teams to address month‑end issues, identify process improvements, and drive efficiency.

Supervise daily operations of the corporate accounting department, with a focus on implementing automation and enhancing reporting capabilities to support growth.

Lead high‑impact accounting projects, serving as a subject matter expert on consolidation, revenue recognition, and related areas.

Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to coordinate quarterly and annual audits and regulatory filings.

Strengthen and monitor internal controls across accounting processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Contribute to special projects, ad hoc analyses, and management reporting as needed.

Assist with SEC reporting requirements and capital calculations.

Work closely with the trading operations team to support daily reconciliations and reporting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required.

Active CPA license is required.

5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a regulated firm, broker‑dealer, or financial institution.

Strong background in capital markets preferred.

Proficiency with large ERP systems (NetSuite a plus, Enfusion strongly preferred).

Deep knowledge of financial reporting standards, systems, and controls.

Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.

Proven track record of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with critical thinking skills.

Effective communicator with the ability to partner across all levels of the business.
