Human Resources Coordinator Family Health Center – Remote position within 60 minutes of Marshfield, WI.

Overview The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator performs confidential administrative tasks to support the overall operations of the Human Resources Department. The role includes preparing correspondence, reports, maintaining records, assisting benefits administration, coordinating hiring activities, entering data, and responding to inquiries.

Essential Job Functions

Conduct new hire orientation to ensure employees understand the organization’s mission, benefits, policies, etc.

Assist in employee benefits administration: accurate enrollments and transfer information to vendors.

Manage FMLA administration and recordkeeping.

Manage Workers’ Compensation processes: first report, incident reporting, investigations, and recordkeeping.

Respond to HR Department inquiries, enter employee changes/updates in HRIS, and communicate information to HR staff and managers.

Maintain personnel files, I9s, visa documentation; transfer information from active to terminated files.

Conduct employment verifications for outside inquiries.

Conduct employee exit interviews; compile and report findings to the Director of Human Resources.

Serve as backup to the HR Coordinator, Recruiting.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent plus two years experience in HR.

Associate’s degree in Human Resource Management and six months experience in Human Resources.
