Our

St. Luke's Cancer Institute (SLCI)

clinics are dynamic, full-service outpatient hematology/oncology treatment centers offering chemo/bio/and radiation therapies. Patients and their families have trusted St. Luke's Cancer Institute for more than 50 years for advanced, compassionate care for cancer blood disorders. Today we are a network of five cancer centers dedicated to state-of-the-art treatment close to home; patient-centered care and support; cutting-edge research; and community prevention, education, and early detection initiatives. St. Luke's holds a Commission on Cancer (CoC) cancer program accreditation - this is a quality program of the American College of Surgeons which demonstrates a cancer program's commitment to providing high-quality, multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care.

What you can expect from this role

Part Time Openings in

Meridian, ID

Part Time 0.8 FTE (64 hours per 2 week pay period)

Monday - Friday (No Weekends or Holidays) -Four8 hour shifts a week

Shift Time Starts at 0800

Support chemo infusion, lab draws, and provider rooming

Eligible to apply for scholarships to pursue nursing education

Qualifications: CNA

Licenses/Certifications:

Current CNA Certification in the State of Practice

American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification

Qualifications: Nurse Apprentice

Licenses/Certifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Must be enrolled in an accredited school of nursing (ACEN, CCNE, or CNEA accreditations)

Experience: 0 years experience

Licenses/Certifications:

Nurse Apprentice Letter OR Nursing Intern Letter from the State Board of Nursing . The Nurse Apprentice is able to remain in the Nurse Apprentice position following graduation while awaiting RN or GN Licensure or 90 days, whichever comes first.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
