Senior Tax Manager
Location: North Miami, FL
Compensation: $200,000 - 300,000 salary
About the Company We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a global supply chain and energy solutions company headquartered in Miami, FL. With operations spanning 30+ countries and partnerships across multiple industries, the company is experiencing rapid growth and transformation. They are seeking a strategic tax leader to oversee and elevate their global income tax compliance and reporting function.
Position Overview You will be responsible for managing U.S. partnership tax compliance, overseeing international corporate tax obligations, and leading global tax accounting under both US GAAP and IFRS. This role combines hands‑on technical depth with executive‑level strategy, including M&A due diligence, structuring, and integration.
U.S. & Global Income Tax Compliance
Lead preparation and review of U.S. federal, state, and local partnership tax returns, including K‑1 reporting.
Oversee corporate income tax compliance for international affiliates in coordination with local advisors.
Ensure filings are accurate, timely, and compliant with U.S. and foreign regulations.
Tax Accounting & Reporting
Lead global tax provision process under ASC 740 and IFRS.
Prepare and review tax disclosures for financial statements; manage auditor relationships.
Maintain SOX‑compliant controls over tax processes.
Strategic Tax Advisory
Advise leadership on tax impacts of business initiatives, investments, and ownership structures.
Provide tax leadership for M&A, including diligence, structuring, and integration.
Partner cross‑functionally with legal and finance on tax‑efficient structuring and intercompany arrangements.
Leadership & Governance
Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to improve compliance, reporting, and audit readiness.
Monitor global tax law changes and advise on business impacts.
Develop scalable systems and processes for a growing international tax function.
Qualifications
12+ years of progressive income tax experience, including Big 4 public accounting and corporate in‑house leadership.
Deep expertise in partnership taxation (Subchapter K, allocations, basis adjustments, K‑1s).
Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and international tax accounting.
Experience with cross‑border corporate tax compliance and structuring.
Exposure to M&A tax diligence, structuring, and post‑acquisition integration.
CPA and/or Master’s in Taxation strongly preferred.
