Must-Haves

Experience:

35 years

as an HR Generalist/Specialist. Bilingual:

Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory. California Expertise:

Must have experience supporting California employees

and a strong working knowledge of

California employment laws

and multi-state compliance. HRIS Software:

Recent, direct experience using

Paylocity . Travel:

Willingness to travel to different office locations

~6 times per year . Travel is typically 3 days or less per visit, with one trip per year lasting a full week (annual meeting). Background:

Must pass a background and drug test (Marijuana excluded).

Preferred Background

Experience in an

Industrial setting

(e.g., construction, mining, heavy lifting, manufacturing, logistics) is a significant plus. Experience working for a

growing company

or one involved in

acquisitions .

Core Responsibilities

The HR Generalist will act as the primary HR point of contact for employees in assigned regions, ensuring compliance and supporting key HR initiatives. Serve as the primary HR point of contact, providing guidance on HR policies and programs. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, with a strong emphasis on California employment law. Support employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution in collaboration with HR leadership. Assist with the implementation and administration of HR initiatives (performance management, employee engagement, training). Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to support recruitment and onboarding processes. Maintain accurate employee records and support benefits administration, leaves of absence, and workers compensation.
