Job Title: Quality Technician - Medical Device
Duration: 12+ Months (Possible extension)
Location: Valencia, CA 91355
Onsite Role, 1st Shift
Responsibilities: The primary purpose of the position is to ensure product complaints are processed, reported and trended timely and accurately. Perform troubleshooting electronics circuits or mechanical failures to find root cause Able to use lab equipment (DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Microscopes, custom test fixtures, gauges, etc.) Document all investigation and analysis results in analysis portion of electronic complaint system Identify areas of improvement and participate in continuous improvement projects Train to all documents and procedures related to the job in a timely manner Assist in developing and qualifying test methods, data sheets, test fixtures, and testing equipment Perform product preparation activities including decontamination, bagging and tagging the product returns Perform transactions to receive RGA (Return Good Authorization) and scrap complaint product samples in SAP system. Perform physical scrapping and archiving of product samples Perform Product Record Review (paper record review) of non-return complaints (Review of DHR, Risk, Labeling, and other records) Use documentation systems to research information and generate Change Requests Perform lab maintenance and ensure equipment is calibrated
Education/Experience: AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 1 year of related experience 2+ years of experience in failure analysis lab or equivalent Good verbal/written communication skills Intermediate computer skills with Windows and MS Office tools Must be detailed oriented and quality minded Med device experience a plus
