Responsibilities
24‑hour oversight of five critical care areas: medical ICU, surgical ICU, abdominal surgery ICU, neuro ICU, and stepdown.
Collaborate with staff, physicians, supervisors, and the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high‑quality patient care.
Develop and implement departmental goals and processes, including strategic plans, standards, clinical goals, administrative operations, legal and compliance regulations.
Maintain staffing operations: hiring, firing, orientations, continued education, and mentorship.
Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Active California RN license required.
Union experience strongly preferred.
Compensation
Annual salary range: $160,000 to $170,000.
Final compensation will consider experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations; eligible candidates may receive a comprehensive benefits package based on the role.
