Overview Manager, People Analytics role at LyondellBasell is a leadership position within the global chemical industry focused on sustainable solutions and people effectiveness.

Role Summary Lead a high-performing team of analysts to provide data-driven insights and executive stories that inform strategic decisions, improve employee engagement, and support HR leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of analysts to provide insights to Executive Committee, HR Leadership Team, and Centers of Excellence partners to mitigate risks, reduce costs, and improve employee engagement.

Mentor and develop a team of analysts, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and continuous improvement.

Coach team members to translate complex data analysis into compelling, action-inspiring stories and presentations that resonate with non-technical business leaders; build a culture of curiosity and collaboration.

Develop team capability in executive communication and stakeholder engagement.

Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders by recommending and designing appropriate analytical strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Analyze workforce data to uncover trends, patterns, and root causes, transforming raw data into meaningful insights for business improvement.

Highlight areas for operational improvement and optimization, enabling the business to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate potential risks.

Empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions by providing clear, actionable recommendations based on robust analytics.

Collaborate with report developers/analysts and business teams to improve data models that feed Power BI.

Partner with other People Systems & Analytics leadership to eliminate duplicity, streamline processes, identify and implement optimal solutions.

Design, implement, and promote self-service reporting tools.

Develop, visualize, and present key findings to various stakeholders, ensuring complex data is communicated in a clear and accessible manner.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent relative work experience.

Typically ten (10) years of work experience.

Typically minimum of three (3) years of experience directly managing and developing people, including performance management and talent development.

Experience in SuccessFactors, Power BI or similar HCM system desired.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with advanced knowledge in Excel.

Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.

Ability to build relationships and instill trust with internal and/or external stakeholders through a strong customer service focus.

Ability to drive results and innovation with integrity through collaborative partnerships.

Ability to apply analytical methodologies to perform data analysis.

Strong ability to coach others in translating technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for people with non-technical backgrounds.

Proven track record of developing analytical talent and building high-performing teams.
