Senior Financial Analyst, AWS Applied AI Solutions Finance
Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) Applied AI Solutions Finance as Senior Financial Analyst to influence the future of AI‑enabled Healthcare and Life Sciences products.
Overview As Senior Financial Analyst you will partner with business leaders, tech teams, and senior finance management to drive strategy, financial modeling, pricing, cost optimization and reporting for new AI solution offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Influence strategic financial decisions to drive long‑term growth and profitability, including evaluating new solution ideas and assessing investments in new services and features.
Own P&L for Healthcare and Life Sciences AI solutions, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Sales to assess financial implications of initiatives.
Influence private pricing deal structures to enable top‑line growth while ensuring margin protection.
Manage projects that significantly impact the business, including identifying and implementing infrastructure cost optimizations.
Lead the OP1/OP2 and R&O planning processes, continuously evolving forecasting approaches and presenting business drivers to senior leadership.
Lead deep‑dive ad hoc analyses and drive insight generation in weekly, quarterly and monthly Business Reviews to influence the business.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field.
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of continuous improvement projects scaling controllership with measurable results.
MBA or CPA.
Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos).
Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis.
4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision‑making.
4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes.
Compensation Base pay ranges from $60,200 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Equity, sign‑on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
