Job Description What is the role? Shell China Lubricants is building a highly professional, commercially focused organization. This is your chance to work as a member of the Shell China B2B Lubricants Team, in conjunction with Marketing and Technical, to drive the unstoppable strategy 2030 for the industry sectors and develop a compelling customer offer to grow our business.

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for working with distributors/Key Account Distributors and finding New Route To Market (RTM) to grow B2B lubricants business by increasing volume and margin in named region, sectors and customers. Building up a solid platform for business continuous growth.

What you’ll be doing

Exceed team and individual KPIs as set by the Regional Sales Manager

Deliver Shell CVPs to end-users in an efficient, cost effective, consistent and sustainable way

Hunting new customers and building up new RTM, aligned with shell B2B market strategy, in designated region, sectors and named customers

Creative thinking and result driven, plan customer calls and visits to find new opportunities to achieve individual sales targets (e.g., margin, growth, named customer CVP)

Understand the activity, business and needs of customers, provide sound information and advice on products, application and services, and to sell and negotiate win-win solutions with customers.

Be responsible and proactive in HSSE issue that affects the individual, the office/field environment, distributors and their customers.

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering, or a related major.

With proven sector developing experience are preferred, Mining, Power, Chemical, OBOR and Design Institute (e.g. CNCEC, CEEC, POWER CHINA etc)

Professional Key Account developing experience with proven records- mainly within Mining sector, Petrochemical sector, Metal Sector and Power sector customers in Guizhou and Sichuan Province

Strong interpersonal skills and able to build constructive relationships with customers and distributors.
