Job Summary The primary focus is to drive hearing aid sales within VA Medical Centers, CBOCs, Military/DOD facilities, Community Care, and Indian Health Clinics. The role involves maintaining and growing market share with existing customers, as well as identifying and securing new business within the assigned territory. Emphasis is placed on strong account relationships and management, CRM maintenance, and project management to support sales strategies. Additionally, the position requires a thorough understanding of audiology concepts and proficiency in fitting Starkey products to assist customers effectively.

Job Responsibilities

Account Strategy and Business Planning

Increase market share and overall sales within the assigned territory.

Manage projects to support account strategies.

Collaborate with the GS territory account manager to present quarterly business reviews to leadership.

Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote Starkey’s value proposition.

Maintain and update CRM with relevant contact and account information.

Utilize consultative, evidence-based, and competitive sales strategies to identify customer needs and opportunities.

Conduct outbound prospecting calls.

Use sales tools to manage the pipeline and advance the sales process.

Segment prospects within the territory.

Identify opportunities to grow the current customer base.

Retain and grow the existing customer base across the assigned territory.

Provide customer support to account contacts.

Develop close working relationships with the GS support team, Customer Service, and Credit Representatives.

Assist in coordinating and enrolling customers in training seminars.

Educate audiologists and technicians on Starkey software and other fitting tools to improve fitting success.

Support the territory by attending and contributing to educational seminars, national symposiums, and regional trainings.

Complete product and sales training to enable successful customer education.

Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the hearing aid or related industry.

Must be able to be onsite 5 days a week at our Eden Prairie, MN location.

Proficient with Microsoft Suite.

Experience with Salesforce CRM.

Basic knowledge of PowerBI.

Proficient in smartphone technology.

Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms.

Selling skills, Territory Management, Business Acumen, Teamwork, Product Knowledge, Strategic mindset.

Compensation and Benefits This position offers a base salary plus monthly commission/incentive opportunities. The anticipated total compensation, including base salary and commission, is expected to range from $75,000 to $119,000, based on performance.
