Job Responsibilities
Handle multi‑party commercial line Workers' Compensation claims of moderate to high exposure and complexity
Document claims files by accurately capturing and updating claims data in compliance with best practices
Determine liability and policy coverage by gathering and analyzing relevant facts and applicable laws
Develop case strategies for timely resolution of claims and establish appropriate reserves
Negotiate settlements of claims by establishing negotiation strategies within authority limits
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience in Claims and/or Litigation Management
Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program and 3+ years of experience in Claims and/or Litigation Management
High School Diploma Equivalent and 5+ years of experience in Claims and/or Litigation Management
Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience handling Workers' Compensation claims with medium to high severity and exposure
3+ years of Litigation Management experience
Jurisdictional expertise handling claims in California
Self‑Insured License
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills
