Travel MRI Technologist – Contract – 13‑Week Assignment in Albany, NY
Overview Supplemental Health Care is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist for a travel contract in Albany, New York. The assignment is 13 weeks, 13 hours per day (10 hour night shifts), and begins ASAP.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans.
Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues.
Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality.
Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT registered.
Phillips MRI Systems experience.
Current state license (if applicable).
BLS certification required.
At least 2 years of recent MRI Tech experience in a hospital or imaging center.
Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and patient care skills.
Contract Details
Remuneration: $2,560 – $2,781 per week* (includes taxable wages and tax‑free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals).
Employment type: Travel Contract.
Location: Albany, New York (hospital setting).
Duration: 13 weeks, with possibility to extend.
