Define, document, build, and maintain EHR application content.
Create functional specification documents and validate content with business owners.
Independently manage projects and meet deadlines consistently.
Act as a liaison between IT, customers, and vendors, facilitating necessary meetings.
Mentor junior colleagues in application knowledge and project management skills.
What is Required (Qualifications)
High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
5-8 years of related work experience in Electronic Health Record implementation and support.
Vendor required certification in good standing for assigned applications/modules.
Ability to assess and resolve problems independently with minimal supervision.
Advanced skills with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in a healthcare setting with a focus on EHR applications.
Proven track record of success in project management within healthcare IT.
Familiarity with Lean diagnostic techniques for problem-solving.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
