Junior Infrastructure Engineer Willow Creek Community Church is an egalitarian non-denominational, multi-site church in and across Chicagoland passionate about helping people take next steps to love God, love people, and change the world.

As the Junior Infrastructure Engineer you will be responsible for supporting Willow’s enterprise network and infrastructure systems. This includes hands‑on support for network installation, configuration, and ongoing support for hardware, operating systems, Wi‑Fi, network cameras, and cloud platforms.

Job Responsibilities Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain computer systems, network infrastructure, telecommunications hardware, and cloud platforms. Perform hands‑on installation of access points, cameras, etc. Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure systems, support procedures, and disaster recovery protocols. Provide backup support as needed for the IT Infrastructure & Support team, including Help Desk tickets.

Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience. Audinate Dante Level 3 Certification required. Strong experience with Google Workspace, Active Directory, 3CX, Xen Orchestra, and Ceph. Network engineering experience in a multi‑site environment. Experience administering both Linux and Windows systems in a virtualized environment. Practical knowledge of core networking technologies: DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and Aruba wireless systems.

Preferred Skills Proficient in project management and technical planning. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including remote support. Demonstrates good judgment, flexibility, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Salary range: $72,000 - $99,000 annually, dependent upon levels of experience and/or education.
