Jacobs is seeking a high‑energy Plumbing Engineer to join our Building Mechanical team and deliver innovative plumbing design solutions for our heavy industrial clients. You will work alongside our team of engineers and designers performing field investigations, interfacing with clients and vendors, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages. Base pay range
$102,900.00/yr - $135,075.00/yr Responsibilities
Develop the design criteria for plumbing systems. Layout and design plumbing systems including sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, natural gas, and roof drainage. Prepare final design documents and specifications for these systems. Coordinate plumbing design work with other disciplines. Qualifications
Professional Engineering License. At least eight (8) years’ experience in the design of plumbing systems. Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of plumbing systems. Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Adaptability to work within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines. Ideal Additional Experience
Software experience in Revit. Experience in utility piping system design. Benefits
