Base pay range: $102,900.00/yr - $135,075.00/yr
About the Role We’re looking for a high-energy Plumbing Engineer to join our Building Mechanical team and help deliver innovative Plumbing design solutions for our heavy industrial clients. You will work alongside a team of engineers and designers performing field investigations, interfacing with clients & vendors, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages.
You’ll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You’ll work with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to establish the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities
Develop design criteria for Plumbing systems.
Layout and design Plumbing systems including sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, natural gas, and roof drainage.
Develop final design documents including specifications associated with these systems.
Coordinate with other disciplines.
Qualifications
Professional Engineering License.
At least eight (8) years’ experience in the design of Plumbing systems.
Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of Plumbing systems.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
Ability to lead a building mechanical team on a project and collaborate with other discipline team members remotely.
Preferred Experience
Software experience in Revit.
Experience in utility piping system design.
