What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead teams of 5 or more in developing, testing, and resolving issues in application software
Mentor team members in application software design and project management
Prepare work estimates and project schedules for cross-functional technical projects
Resolve complex technical problems and provide leadership during critical outage events
Develop training programs for technical staff and recommend improvements to business processes
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of professional work experience
Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development or testing
Knowledge of software development methodologies and project management practices
Proficient in at least one programming language used by the team
Ability to work nights and weekends as needed for system implementations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with software testing practices and tools
Knowledge of business analysis practices and quality management
Strong public speaking and effective writing skills
Familiarity with techniques for initiating and promoting change within organizations
