What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage performance activities and productivity standards for the Clinical Research Informatics team
Develop strategic plans for system upgrades and implementations in the Clinical Research Informatics environment
Collaborate with vendors and clinical research operations to validate and implement system changes
Ensure compliance with federal regulations and institutional policies regarding validated clinical research systems
Act as a technical expert, gathering requirements and translating them into data specifications for informatics systems
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Science, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Knowledge and experience with clinical trials management systems and electronic health records
Successful completion of a background check
Ability to work effectively within a clinical trials/clinical research environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
8-12 years of relevant experience in healthcare or clinical research
Advanced degree in a related field
Extensive experience developing workflow and user documentation
Proven ability to interact with research leadership and study teams
Familiarity with regulatory compliance for clinical research systems
