Overview This is a specialist role for an expense accountant that will focus on mastering current expense allocation process. In this role you will partner with the current specialist, learning his role and responsibilities, reporting requirements and controls in order to free up capacity during a strategic project.
Responsibilities
Partner with current expense accounting specialist to learn role, responsibilities, reporting requirements and controls.
Master the expense allocation process using the three‑file model that intake actual expenses at a detailed level and run through waterfall mechanics to produce journal entries that post into SAP.
Free up capacity during a strategic project by providing controls, reconciliations and key customer collaboration and reporting.
Required Skills
Excel expert
Complex modelling/allocations experience – understand results and measure changes
Previous journal entry experience – creating, balancing, validating and posting
SAP R3 or S4H GLSU experience
Complex accounting controls/reconciliations
Key customer collaboration and reporting
Preferred Education An ideal educational background would include a mix of accounting, financial modeling and allocations – equate to development of overhead application rates studied in cost or managerial accounting classes.
