Freeman Mills PC, a respected Texas-based law firm specializing in oil and gas, energy, and natural resources law, is seeking an experienced
Associate Attorney
to join our
Dallas office . The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in land work and oil and gas law, with a commitment to providing exceptional legal service to our clients in the energy industry.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and interpret oil and gas title opinions, contracts, and other related documents.
Advise clients on land, mineral, and energy development matters.
Conduct due diligence and title research in support of transactions and exploration projects.
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to deliver high-quality legal work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Texas oil and gas law, regulations, and industry practices.
Qualifications
Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas
(required).
Minimum of
2 years of experience as a Landman or in oil and gas-related work . (required)
Preference given
to candidates with
at least 2 years of experience practicing oil and gas law as an attorney .
Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary:
$115,000 – $130,000 (commensurate with experience)
