We are seeking a well-rounded and proactive

HR Generalist

to oversee and execute core human resources functions across our organization. This individual will take ownership of key areas such as payroll administration, employee onboarding and offboarding, recruitment and talent acquisition, benefits coordination, HR compliance, and training program management. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of HR practices, sound judgment, and a people-first mindset, and thrives in a fast-paced, service-based environment. This role presents a unique opportunity for an early to mid-level professional in the field of Human Resources to help build and shape the HR function of a rapidly growing company from the ground up. The individual in this position will work directly with executives and key stakeholders on a daily basis, gaining valuable exposure to high level business operations and decision making. Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract top talent across roles and locations. Write and post job descriptions, screen candidates, schedule and conduct interviews, and guide hiring managers through the selection process. Extend offers and manage the full-cycle hiring process. Payroll & Benefits Administration

Manage end-to-end payroll processing in coordination with finance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Oversee employee benefits programs, including enrollment, education, and issue resolution. Ensure compliance with all federal and state wage and hour laws. Employee Lifecycle Management

Lead the onboarding process, including new hire orientations, benefits setup, and policy training. Manage offboarding procedures, conduct exit interviews, and ensure smooth transitions. Maintain up-to-date employee records and HRIS data with high accuracy and confidentiality. Compliance & Employee Relations

Monitor and ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, DOT, EEO). Serve as a point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and guiding resolution in coordination with leadership. Assist in the development and enforcement of company policies and procedures. Training & Development

Coordinate and monitor employee training programs and compliance certifications. Recommend and implement development initiatives to support employee growth and retention. Provide input into workforce planning, organizational structure, and process improvement. Partner with managers to support performance reviews, goal setting, and team development. Lead or contribute to HR projects that improve operational efficiency and employee experience. Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered). 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced, blue-collar or service-based industry. Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, EEO, and ADA. Proven ability to manage the full employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance. Proficiency in HRIS/payroll systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to handle confidential matters with discretion. Comfortable operating independently and supporting both hourly and salaried staff. Strong initiative and desire to improve internal processes. Familiarity with compliance in regulated industries (DOT, OSHA, etc.). Demonstrated initiative in process improvement or policy development. SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus. Why Join Us?
