About the Position The Administrative Conference Services Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily front desk operations across residential communities, providing direct guidance and training to student staff, managing package delivery systems, maintaining inventories, and supporting large‑scale departmental events such as Move‑In, Move‑Out, and Experience CSUF. The role also coordinates student hiring processes, maintains employee files, tracks payroll records, and provides administrative support to associate directors. The coordinator delivers excellent customer service across multiple channels, supports departmental communications, and assists with key accountability systems and projects as assigned by Housing leadership.

Essential Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent with five years of progressively responsible experience in general office, clerical or secretarial work.

Comprehensive knowledge of applicable university infrastructure, policies, and procedures.

Expertise in using office software packages, technology, and systems.

Ability to independently handle multiple work unit priorities and projects.

Ability to troubleshoot office administration problems and respond to inquiries related to the work area.

Background check (including criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a fast‑paced environment with multiple interactions.

Knowledge of department and university policies and procedures to effectively support department operation.

Experience with a record management system/software.
