Position Summary Designs, develops, and implements digital solutions and systems by applying advanced technical expertise to architect and code software applications, conduct system testing and debugging, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and contribute to the overall technical direction and innovation of digital engineering projects.

Responsibilities

Writes code, develops software components, and implements complex functionalities according to project requirements.

Collaborates with other members of the development team and stakeholders to make high‑level architectural decisions, proposes design patterns, and ensures scalability, performance, and maintainability of digital solutions.

Leverages advanced programming skills to design and implement complex features, optimize performance, and ensure code efficiency.

Integrates various software components or systems, ensuring seamless communication and interoperability between different parts of the digital solution.

Writes and executes comprehensive test cases, conducts code reviews, performs debugging, and troubleshoots issues to ensure the reliability, stability, and high quality of digital solutions.

Participates in agile or other development methodologies, attends meetings, contributes to project planning, and helps drive the progress and success of digital projects.

Explores new tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve digital solutions and drive innovation within the development team.

Creates and maintains technical documentation, including system designs, architecture diagrams, code documentation, and other relevant documentation while sharing knowledge and expertise with team members, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and collaboration.

Required Qualifications

5-7 years work experience in Software Engineering using .NET Framework, C#, SQL Server, GIT

Adept at problem solving and decision making skills

Adept at collaboration and teamwork

Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills

Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills

Required Technical Skills

.NET Framework, C#, SQL Server, GIT

XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript

Frameworks: Angular and Bootstrap

REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs

JIRA, Rally, and SQL

Deployment of enterprise web applications

End‑to‑end accountability for the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable, enterprise‑grade web applications, APIs, and service‑oriented components.

Development of data‑driven reporting solutions supporting strategic business insights and decision‑making.

Direct development teams, establish code standards, conduct design and code reviews, and perform technical feasibility assessments to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and business goals; and Strategic leadership across the SDLC, including business requirements analysis, architectural planning, effort estimation, and solution design.

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare/Medicare/Stars experience and GCP/Azure experience. Gen AI preferred

Education Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $92,700.00 - $222,480.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
