Overview
This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Conduct daily detailed DNHC process for assigned areas of responsibility.
Manage all telephony equipment under moderate supervision.
Follow established guidelines for telephone network daily health check procedures and call out protocols during outage situations.
Under guidance of TOE II and III performs installation and turn up of Trunk Groups and augments as determined by Traffic and Capacity Team.
Configure and troubleshoot SS7, ISUP, and SIP with guidance of TOE II and III.
Understand telephony circuit architecture concepts, OC12, OC3, DS3, DS1, etc.
Assist with the troubleshooting efforts during major outages.
Assist in all Residential and Business telephony issues.
Document switch and telephone network architecture.
Demonstrate basic IP knowledge, L2, L3 TCP, UDP and telephony equivalents.
Implement Method of Procedures (MOPS) created by TOE II and III.
Support all core telephony equipment including hardware and software upgrades, maintenance, and expansions.
Working Conditions
Office environment.
May work in: Network Lab environment, 24X7 Network Operations environment, Field Operations environment.
Occasional travel as required.
What You’ll Bring to Spectrum Required Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience
1+ years Wireline, Wireless, or Broadband telephony switch installation or administration.
1+ years Database management and network configuration work experience.
1+ years Telephone Industry Experience.
Skills
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Ability to troubleshoot IP connectivity issues.
Ability to direct IP connectivity troubleshooting or hold CCNA.
Ability to maintain professional composure and demonstrate critical thinking during stressful or complex projects.
Ability to use personal computer and software applications.
Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record within company required standards.
Preferred Qualifications Skills
Knowledge of company products and services.
In-depth knowledge of common word processing, spreadsheet, Presentation, Design software and concepts.
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP standard applications (Telnet, SSH, FTP, SMTP, HTTP).
Ability to contribute creative solutions to complex problems.

The base pay for this position generally is between
$61,050.00 and $97,350.00 . The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
