Posting Details: Priority Application Deadline: Sunday, October 12th @ 11:55pm PST (Posting will remain open until filled) Under the general direction of the Director of Business Operations, the President’s Office Business Coordinator performs a variety of functions in support of the daily and long-term administrative activities of the Office of the President. The incumbent works with the Sr. Presidential Aide/Executive Assistant to the President to manage high-level and sensitive scheduling, calendar management, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role serves as a liaison for the President’s Office with systemwide officials, university and community leaders, and government/elected officials on scheduling needs. Responsibilities

Manage administrative operations of the Office of the President, including front-desk coverage, budget monitoring for areas of responsibility, office management, procurement, reimbursements, and hospitality justification. Provide high-level scheduling support and calendar management for the President, coordinating with other Administrators in the President’s Office. Serve as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders on scheduling and information flow; communicate effectively and maintain appropriate discretion for confidential matters. Assist with executive management consultation related to the collective bargaining process and confidential personnel and labor relations matters. Ensure efficient information flow and service to visitors, understanding the university structure and functioning. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Thorough knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and business arithmetic, grammar, spelling, and punctuation; understanding of organization and management in higher education. Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize, meet deadlines, and interpret complex policies; handle confidential matters; communicate effectively with the President and high-ranking campus officials; supervise clerical staff as needed; and maintain the President’s appointment calendar and budget. Experience Five years of progressively responsible work experience as a secretary, executive secretary, or staff assistant demonstrating the listed knowledge and abilities, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates those abilities. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Ability to work independently on complex problems; schedule and manage calendars via Microsoft Outlook; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; coordinate meetings and events; maintain confidentiality; strong organizational and interpersonal skills; effective written and verbal communication; working knowledge of financial recordkeeping; learn HR processes; arrange high-level travel; supervise student assistants; foster an inclusive, welcoming work environment. Other Travel to various locations for purchasing or work-related assignments; willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed to maintain the President’s calendar. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of CSU systems such as Concur and Financial Data Warehouse. Application and Contact
