We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Supply Chain Manager to oversee the efficient receipt and management of raw materials and components essential for our outdoor roller screens and awnings production. This role is critical in ensuring timely deliveries, cost-effective transportation, and seamless coordination with suppliers and internal teams. Additionally, the Supply Chain Manager will play a key role in driving savings opportunities across our brands, collaborating with the Global Procurement team, and contributing to strategic procurement initiatives. This position directly supports organizational goals and operational excellence. What you’ll do
Manage the receipt of raw materials and components from suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to manufacturing facilities. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies, delays, or quality issues, ensuring compliance with company standards. Monitor inventory levels across facilities and coordinate with buyers and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels, preventing production delays. Ensure all inbound shipments comply with regulatory requirements and company policies, maintaining accurate records and documentation. Oversee international deliveries, including container tracking and customs clearance, working in collaboration with customs brokers and buyers. Analyze inbound logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to management. Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing inbound logistics processes, reducing costs, and improving supplier performance. Supervise and coach buyers at our three manufacturing facilities. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in inbound logistics or supply chain management, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with logistics software and ERP systems is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Knowledge of import/export regulations and international shipping procedures. Proven leadership abilities to supervise and coach teams across multiple facilities. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Adaptable and resilient in handling complex logistics challenges. Ethical and committed to compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
