AUTOKINITON is seeking a Tool and Die Manager to join our high-performance team at our Lebanon, TN location. This full-time, regular/at-will management position is integral to driving success for the world's top auto manufacturers. As a Tool and Die Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, maintenance, and repair of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in the manufacturing process. You will ensure that all tooling meets or exceeds quality and production requirements, and you will work closely with the Operations Supervisor and Manager to align tooling processes with company goals. Your role will involve leading a team of skilled trades associates, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and contributing to the development of high-strength structural components and precision stamping assemblies. You will also be responsible for managing budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Required Experience
A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in tool and die management within the automotive industry
Proven track record of managing a tool room and leading a team of skilled trades associates
Experience in high-strength structural components and precision stamping assembly manufacturing
Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and implement continuous improvement initiatives
History of successful project management, from conception to completion
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis related to tooling and production costs
Prior involvement in strategic planning and the ability to align tooling processes with organizational goals
Experience in workforce development, including training and mentoring team members
A history of maintaining compliance with industry safety standards and regulations
Experience in vendor management and negotiation
A track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is required
