2nd Shift Tool and Die Supervisor – Lebanon, TN Full‑time, regular position reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager. You will oversee the tool and die department, ensuring the design, repair, and maintenance of tooling is carried out efficiently and to the highest standards. Your responsibilities include supervising a team of skilled tool and die makers, managing projects from conception to completion, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, scheduling and prioritizing work, maintaining tooling inventory, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Required Skills
Proven leadership and supervisory skills
Strong knowledge of tool and die design and manufacturing processes
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software
Excellent project management skills
Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
Understanding of safety regulations and quality standards in a manufacturing environment
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with ERP systems for inventory and workflow management
Required Experience
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in tool and die making within the automotive industry
Experience supervising a team in a manufacturing setting
Hands‑on experience with tool and die repair and maintenance
Proven track record of managing tool room operations and staff
Experience in implementing cost‑saving measures and efficiency improvements
History of successful project management from inception to completion
Experience in training and developing skilled trades personnel
Knowledge of current industry best practices and emerging technologies
Prior experience working with cross‑functional teams, including engineering and production
Experience ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field
