The primary role of the Logistics Lead (LL) involves checking and verifying the accuracy of selecting, packing, weighing, marking, and counting tires for customer orders. The LL provides additional leadership in TireHub Logistics Centers (TLC). The LL is expected to maintain safe driving practices, deliver exceptional customer service, and foster strong customer relationships while representing TireHub professionally. The LL will also operate TireHub vehicles to distribute tires as needed.

This position has a starting wage of $21.50 per hour with guaranteed increases of $2.00 over your first year of employment with TireHub.
Schedule :
Monday through Saturday – Fluctuating day shift hours

This position reports to an Assistant TLC Leader.

Role Specifics
Responsible for distribution of tasks including general warehousing, delivery service, and vehicle maintenance
Adjustments to these allocations are made as business needs evolve
Routing and delegation in a dispatch-like format to Logistics Specialists
Loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires to and from transport vehicles
Completes tasks related to customer service and warehouse duties
Checks and verifies the accuracy of selecting, packing, weighing, marking, and counting of tires for customer orders
Ensures tires are in the assigned staging areas according to bin locator system and safety standards
Operates order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, delivery vehicles and other equipment; follows safety guidelines
Participates in cycle counting, tallying, and inventory control documents, including annual physical inventories
Oversees proper unloading, loading, palletizing, and stacking of tires with safety in mind
Communicates a detailed daily summary to Leadership including employee, safety, and operational overview
Collects payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions
Maintains vehicle cleanliness and mechanical/physical condition
Conducts pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and reports issues promptly
Reports driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly
Ensures compliance with TireHub policies and FMCSA regulations
Participates in ongoing training through assigned modules
Completes other tasks as assigned by Leader or other leadership

For this role you will need
At least 1 year of general work experience
Must have a minimum of 2 years of driving history with a valid driver’s license (does not include driver's permit)
Must be 19 Years old
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to read, write and comprehend
Experience with general warehousing, including proper placement of received and shipping products
Capable of frequent bending, pulling, rolling, twisting and lifting
Multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to use computer-based programs including an iPad
Accurately and efficiently load, unload and place tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles
Work up to 35 feet above ground level while tethered
Follow traffic rules and regulations by safely driving TireHub vehicles
Work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with Roadnet, GPS, and navigation systems
Must maintain a TireHub sponsored forklift certification
Must maintain a valid driver’s license
Working Conditions
Required to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires up to 50 lbs or greater with or without assistance; standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing, and balancing as required
Spend extended periods of time on a computer and performing repetitive keyboarding
May handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment
Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Work in non-climate-controlled warehouses and at customer locations
Extended day, evening, and weekend work may be required
Night driving or inclement weather driving may be required
Must meet physical compatibility with equipment; reasonable accommodations available per ADA
