The primary role of the Logistics Lead (LL) involves checking and verifying the accuracy of selecting, packing, weighing, marking, and counting tires for customer orders. The LL provides leadership in TireHub Logistics Centers (TLC). The LL maintains safe driving practices, delivers exceptional customer service, and fosters strong customer relationships while representing TireHub professionally. The LL will also operate TireHub vehicles to distribute tires as needed. For this role you will need: At least 1 year of general work experience. Must have a minimum of 2 years of driving history, with a valid driver’s license (does not include driver\'s permit). Must be 19 years old. Responsibilities

Responsible for distribution of tasks including general warehousing, delivery service, and vehicle maintenance. Adjustments to allocations are made as business needs evolve. Responsible for routing and delegating in a dispatch-like format to Logistics Specialists. Load, unload, inspect, and tally tires to and from transport vehicles (trailer trucks/box trucks/delivery vans). Complete tasks related to customer service and warehouse duties. Check and verify the accuracy of selecting, packing, weighing, marking, and counting of tires for customer orders; ensure items are in assigned staging areas according to bin locator system while following safety standards. Operate order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, delivery vehicles and other equipment; ensure safety guidelines are met in operating equipment. Participate in cycle counting, tallying, and marking on inventory control documents, including annual physical inventories. Unloading, loading, palletizing, and stacking tires while ensuring safety guidelines are followed. Communicate a detailed daily summary to Leadership, including employee, safety, and operational overview. Collect payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions. Ensure vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical/physical condition. Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections daily and report operational issues or mechanical defects. Report driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly. Ensure compliance with TireHub policies and FMCSA regulations. Participate in ongoing training through in-class, in-person, or computer-based modules. Complete other tasks as assigned by leadership. Qualifications & Competencies

Required knowledge and abilities include excellent communication and customer service, ability to read/write/comprehend, general warehousing experience, safe operation of equipment, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Roadnet, GPS, and Navigation systems; ability to maintain a TireHub forklift certification and a valid driver’s license. Working Conditions

Lift, pull, push, and move tires up to 50 lbs or more; frequent bending, kneeling, and climbing. Occasional high workstations, extended computer use, and handling hazardous materials with protective equipment as required. Regular driving of TireHub vehicles; night or inclement weather driving may be required. Extended hours including weekends may be required with little or no notice; safety restraints and equipment limitations apply.
