Controls Engineer / Senior Controls Engineer
to join our team! This position can be worked from our
Lebanon
or
Springfield, MO
offices and is more than a programming job; you will shape projects from concept to commissioning, and ensure our solutions are robust, innovative, and delivered successfully. What You’ll Do
Architect, design, and program complex control systems for custom industrial automation equipment using Rockwell software and AutoCAD Electrical. Lead teams of Controls Engineers, providing mentorship, task implementation, and technical oversight to ensure project success. Develop and integrate sophisticated systems involving servos, robotics, vision systems, and HMI interfaces. Create detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, and bills of materials, ensuring designs are functional, safe, and cost-effective. Lead internal and customer design reviews, troubleshoot and debug systems on the shop floor, and support installations at customer sites. Manage project scope and budget, identifying risks and implementing solutions to keep projects on track. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent proven experience. 4+ years
of direct experience designing and programming controls for industrial automated equipment. High proficiency with
Rockwell
PLC programming software and
AutoCAD Electrical . Proven project leadership skills with the ability to manage scope, budget, and mentor team members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, customers, and suppliers. A strategic, problem-solving mindset with a high tolerance for the challenges of complex system integration. Additional details
