Overview
We are seeking a
Development and Behavioral Support Specialist
to join our team at the
East Coast Migrant Head Start Project , located in Clayton, NC (Regional office).
Responsibilities The Development and Behavioral Support Specialist is responsible for tracking service delivery plans for children with disabilities, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and meeting the needs of the children and migrant farmworker families. This position also oversees mental health service plans for children, families, and ECMHSP, by providing training and technical assistance, conducting behavioral assessments as needed, and aiding regions and campuses in fostering social-emotional development for all enrolled children.
Qualifications Education and Experience
Accepted: Bachelor in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Psychology with concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis, Mental Health or related field; 5 years’ experience providing technical assistance and training, working with 0-5 children with disabilities, and establishing interagency collaborative agreements.
Preferred: Master in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Psychology with concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis, or Mental Health or related field; 3 years’ experience providing T/TA, working with 0-5 children with disabilities, and establishing interagency collaborative agreements. Registered Behavior Therapist Certification. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
